Catching a glimpse of the future multi-ethnic look of the United States

On our travels throughout the deep south, we come across more and more emerging populations. Latinos , in particular, have moved to the deep south in large numbers changing the ethnic landscape therein. Latinos are not the only minority ethnic group that has seen large population increases.

In Nashville, Tennessee, we came across this neighborhood where Latinos and Asians had businesses side by side.

In this photo, you can see an Asian restaurant right next to Latino jewelry store right next to a taqueria with a “made in nashville” coca cola truck right in front.

This is not only the future look of the United States, but it is also the here and now.
