As a researcher, former service provider, and a community-member, I often get asked questions that initially make me clench my teeth.  Because there are subtexts to the questions – sometimes assigning blame, or making assumptions.  But I try my best to be clear and present evidence, as these are teachable moments and ultimately learning opportunities.

So in the next few series of posts, I will present my responses to the top 5 questions I always seem to get (in one form or another).
